These verses and any linked articles/stories are intended to help jumpstart you in your own studies. MOST VERSES ARE BEST UNDERSTOOD WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF THE WHOLE LETTER in which it was written. We can’t emphasize enough how important it is to have your own bible and seek on your own. no one or any resource can replace one-on-one time with the king.
Have you ever considered how fond God is of you? That can be a very odd thought, maybe awkward. How can someone who we can't see, who we're told created everything, including us, like us? It's a measure of familiarity we can't fully grasp. But that's what the Bible tells us - that God wants to be familiar with us. He already knows us and likes us. He delights in us, so we're told. Let's look at what God thinks about the people He creates.
Some of the verse I share here are written to the nation of Isra'el but they still apply. The reason being, His Word - the past - how He relates to Isra'el - is a revelation of who God is and how He feels toward those who Believe; who believe in the name of His Son, Jesus, and therefore, by our connection to Jesus the Messiah, we are adopted as His children. And the entire Bible is a story of the Love of God for those who He calls His children.
In addition to the verses below, you'll find a specific LIST that puts these verses into perspective. Clearly, this is not comprehensive and will constantly be expanding. Yahweh Loves YOU! And He sees infinite beauty and positive attributes in who you are!

EPHESIANS 1:4-6 Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love. For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will because it pleased Him and was His kind intent], [So that we might be] to the praise and the commendation of His glorious grace (favor and mercy), which He so freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. [AMPC]
EPHESIANS 1:4-6 And He chose us to be His very own, joining us to Himself even before He laid the foundation of the universe! (He spoke us before the fall of the foundation of the world). Because of His great love, He ordained (set us apart) us, so that we would be seen as holy in His eyes with an unstained innocence.
For it was always in His perfect plan to adopt (establish) us as His delightful children, through our union with Jesus, the Anointed One, so that His tremendous love that cascades over us would glorify His grace-for the same love He has for His Beloved One, Jesus, He has for us. And this unfolding plan brings Him great pleasure! [TPT]
