There are stacks of books scattered throughout my house: on nightstands, under beds, in closets, on shelves, and stacked high on the floor. Even if I can only get through a paragraph here & there, books enrich my life…

Mr. Darcy still captures my heart, Ms. Eizabeth continues to give me courage, and I’m daily inspired and in awe of people & their books!

Several years ago I had the idea to start my own bookstore in competition with the behemoth we all know. I named it “Yada Books” and got as far as buying a domain and writing down a few ideas. Nothing came of it and instead I built Paola Lane – which suits me better.

Since I was a little girl, I’ve had a vivid imagination. Then, for a few years, that imagination got lost in the battles of life. But not long ago, I rediscovered my daydreams which rekindled my voracious appetite for reading. I dusted off old books, sought out new ones, and started writing my own.

Books are splendid! And I want to share the jewels of wisdom, experience, and imagination that I come across – and even some that others have recommended but I’ve yet to break open the cover.
