Perception is everything. Scripture often talks about "seeing" or to consider our our eye; most of the time it is referring to our perception. We must allow God to teach us how to see.

MATTHEW 6:22 The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. Bit if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! [NKJV]

LUKE 11:34-36 The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole body also is full of light. But when your eye is bad, your body also is full of darkness. Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness. If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, the whole body will be full of light, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light. [NKJV]

LUKE 11:34-36 The eyes of your spirit allow revelation-light to enter into your being. When your heart is open the light floods in. When your heart is hard and closed, the light cannot penetrate and darkness takes its place. Open your heart and consider my words. Watch out that you do not mistake your opinions for revelation-light! If your spirit burns with light, fully illuminated with no trace of darkness, you will be a shining lamp, reflecting rays of truth by the way you live. [TPT]
