1 PETER 1:11-12 …The Spirit of the Anointed One was in them (the OT prophets) …who preached the gospel to you through the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven.
MARK 1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.
ROMANS 8:23 We who have already experienced the awakening of the Spirit also inwardly groan as we passionately long to experience our full status as God’s sons and daughters – including our physical bodies being transformed.
ROMANS 8:26 And in a similar way, the Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to super-intercede on our behalf, pleading to God with emotional sighs/groanings too deep for words.
ROMAN 12:2 Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think.
ROMANS 12:11 Be enthusiastic to serve the Lord, keeping your passion toward Him boiling hot! Radiate with the glow of the Holy Spirit and let Him fill you with excitement as you serve Him. [TPT]
JOHN 14:15 If you love Me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Advocate/Counselor), to be with you forever, even the Spirit of Truth, whom the world can not receive, because it neither sees Him or knows Him. You know Him for He dwells with you and will be in you.
JOHN 14:26 But the helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
1 CORINTHIANS 2:10-11 But God now unveils these profound realities to us by the Spirit. Yes, He has revealed the us His inmost heart and deepest mysteries through the Holy Spirit, who constantly explores all things. [TPT]
1 CORINTHIANS 2:12 For we did not receive the spirit of this world system but the Spirit of God, so that we might come to understand and experience all the grace has lavished on us.
1 CORINTHIANS 2:13 And we articulate these realities with the words imparted to us by the Spirit and not with the words taught by human wisdom. We join together Spirit-revealed truths with Spirit-revealed words.
1 CORINTHIANS 2:14 Someone living on an entirely human level rejects the revelations of God’s Spirit, for they make no sense to him. He can’t understand the revelations of the Spirit because they are only discovered by the illumination of the Spirit.
1 CORINTHIANS 2:15 Those who live in the Spirit are able to carefully evaluate all things, and they are subject to the scrutiny of no one but God.
1 CORINTHIANS 3:16 Don’t you realize that together you have become God’s inner sanctuary and that the Spirit of God makes His permanent home in you? (note: “together” – this book of Corinthians is addressing a particular issue within a house church, led by a woman, Chloe. His main topic is unity but addresses it in combination with all the spiritual gifts – including preaching and teaching. He is exhorting all of them: men and women, to work together in the Spirit.)
