These verses and any linked articles/stories are intended to help jumpstart you in your own studies. MOST VERSES ARE BEST UNDERSTOOD WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF THE WHOLE LETTER in which it was written. We can’t emphasize enough how important it is to have your own bible and seek on your own. no one or any resource can replace one-on-one time with the king.
If there ever was an "easy button", it is this: SEEK GOD. It is the key to everything. In 2015 I made Matthew 6:33 my life verse. I guess you could say that was when I reversed the direction of my life as a "train". I had been slowing it down and stopping it from moving forward in the direction it was determined to go. Our lives are like that—a train, that is. Slow to start and stop but when it's full steam, it has lots of power behind it and takes a lot of effort to stop it. It took years to slow the direction of my life down and bring it to a stop. Then, Matthew 6:33 was the key that switched directions; changed my mindsets. I still hold onto Matthew 6:33 as my life verse and can tell you I'm convinced even more now than ever, that Seeking God is truly the key to EVERYTHING.

MATTHEW 6:33-34 [TPT] So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God’s kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from him. Then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly. Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself.
MATTHEW 6:33-34 [KJV] But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Isaiah 57-58 are good passages to reflect on and ponder. When we seek God, we must make sure our hearts are pure - meaning we have the right motives. Isaiah 58 reveals a conversation of people crying out and asking God why He hasn't heard or can't be found and He tells them their motives are selfish. It's not out of love for Him or for others, but is self-serving. It's always good, no matter what we do, to have a daily HEART CHECK with the Father and ask Him to reveal where our motives are offf or to purify our hearts more and more.
PSALM 24:3-6 [ESV] Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place?
