Soul Care / Soul Heath / Emotional IQ...the Bible has much to reveal regarding God's desire for us to be whole, not only in our physical body and spiritually, but also in our soul. Our soul is where our emotions, mind, and will reside. We've compiled a list of scripture that addresses the attention Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit give to our emotional health. He cares about our woundings. God cares about our sorrows and insecurities; He wants to touch those deep places.

I think one of the greatest misunderstandings about believing in Jesus is that all our troubles go away. Jesus told us in this world we WOULD have trouble. The promise is that "yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for YOU are with me"...in other words, He walks WITH us. When we get stuck, He pulls us up. But God wants us to. grow into a place where we are not devastated by the troubles of this world; that our soul stands firm so that we are not consumed and overtaken. This is His promis to us if we seek Him and keep our eyes firmly focused on Him! God cares about your soul. ❤️

Remember you are not isolated or alone. Every person has brokenness in their soul. Everyone. Isaiah 61 Prayer…
Note: the verses below from Isaiah 61 are telling us the purpose of the Messiah (Jesus/Yeshua). I wrote this prayer after a day of quiet meditation and prayer over the words in Isaiah 61. I’ve typed out a portion of the chapter and then wrote out a personalized prayer. This is Jesus’ WHY. Listen to what He came to do FOR YOU:
ISAIAH 61:1-3 [TPT] The mighty Spirit of Lord Yahweh is wrapped around me because Yahweh has anointed me, as a messenger to preach good news to the poor. He sent me to heal the wounds of the brokenhearted, to tell captives, “You are free,” and to tell prisoners, “Be free from your darkness”. I am sent to announce a new season of Yahweh’s grace and a time of God’s recompense on his enemies, to comfort all who are in sorrow, to strengthen those crushed by despair who mourn in Zion-to give them a beautiful bouquet in the place of ashes, the oil of bless instead of tears, and the mantle of joyous praise instead of the spirit of heaviness.
Adonai, I’m humbled by what You’ve offered in trade for what hurts my soul. As an act of my trust & will, I hand to You my loneliness, heaviness, brokenness of my soul, and what has bound me; I receive Your anointing, freedom, and comfort. I put on a gorgeous garment of praise, joy, and favor; finishing it with a crown of righteousness. My eyes delight in the jewels of Your love and favor which adorn me. My life is a well-watered garden so overflowing with Your goodness, love, hope, forgiveness, joy, and gratitude that it is more than I can handle and pours over into the life of my son and his generations!
